How are you all? Enjoying the last days of summer?
Here it looks like the summer has not given up yet because it is very very hot. Do you like it when it is hot or do you prefer cold weather. I am definitely a summer person and thinking about winter now is giving me chills. But winter also means Christmas and a New Year and snow. That's not that bad, isn't it? :-)
Anyways, today I have a bit different thing to share with you.
I think that at least once in our lives, we all experience a loss of a friend. It can happen whether involuntarily or deliberately. I experienced both and the lesson I learnt is very much applicable for either of them.
I believe that every single person (good or bad) we meet during our lives, come into our life for a reason. Each person brings us some kind of experience. Maybe it is something that we need to learn or something that we need to get through in order to become a stronger happier person. But the same as the seasons are changing, people are also crossing and leaving our paths.
So when I lost a friend for the first time, I was, of course, sad and confused. However, when this time passed, I started to see the whole situation differently. I started to see why this person left my life, I started to realize that my story with this person was over and that's how it was supposed to be. Immediately after I calmed my mind and realized this, many new and better people started flowing into my life.
The second biggest loss I experienced was deliberate. I already learnt from my previous experience that we all have some time we need to spend together, but one day this time can be over. And I felt that this time was right now. I think that it might also be a part of my new lifestyle. Since I started to clean my body and clean my thoughts, my surroundings and people around me started cleaning as well because they were simply not in harmony with the new myself.
So my final words to you - It can be hard, but one day, when you let go and you connect with yourself, you will understand and you will accept it. And you will see that other people will start flowing into your life and if you let them, they will give you the same (or greater) love, understanding and support as any other person before. And maybe those will be the ones who stay in your life forever. :-)
Please share your thoughts with me in the comments.
Love,
Julie xoxo
